About Navarro County Criminal History

Navarro County criminal records are divided among the sheriff, two courthouse clerks, local police and municipal courts, and Texas agencies. This private reference site organizes those official routes so a reader can distinguish a jail booking from a filed court case or a statewide DPS record. Corsicana is the county seat and home to the main county counters, but records created in Kerens, Rice, and other cities may begin with their own police or court offices. Clear routing helps people ask the custodian that actually holds the requested document.

Why We Built This Site

Public access in Texas does not mean that one office keeps every part of a criminal history. The Navarro County Sheriff's Office maintains its own incident, arrest, booking, and jail material. The District Clerk handles felony files from the 13th District Court, while the County Clerk keeps Class A and B misdemeanor cases. Municipal and justice courts hold many fine-only matters. Texas Department of Public Safety, Crime Records Division, receives reportable events for the statewide repository, and DPS also operates the Texas Public Sex Offender Registry. This site brings the verified portals, request routes, addresses, and limits into one Navarro County reference point.

What You Will Find Here

The content separates official record products instead of treating every name result as the same thing. Readers can find:

  • Local record routes: Navarro County sheriff, clerk, police, and municipal court contacts
  • Court guidance: how to locate and read felony, misdemeanor, and fine-only case files
  • Texas systems: DPS name-search, fingerprint self-review, corrections, and registry channels
  • Access context: Texas Public Information Act rules, court-access limits, expunction, and nondisclosure basics

What We Cannot Do

Navarro County Criminal History is privately run. It is not connected to Navarro County, the State of Texas, a court, a police department, or any other government body. Those limits matter:

  • We cannot retrieve an official record or run an official background check for a visitor
  • We cannot issue a certified judgment, criminal-history response, or registry document
  • We cannot submit a records request, expunction petition, or correction packet for anyone
  • We cannot give legal advice about a charge, warrant, case, or remedy
  • We cannot promise that an agency's fee, hours, phone, or portal will never change

Only the Navarro County or Texas office that maintains a record can issue or certify it. Verify important facts with that originating office.

Search Partners

Some site pages contain search boxes supplied by outside providers. A partner controls its service, prices, results, and terms. If a visitor follows a search tool to a paid service, this site may receive a referral fee that supports site operations. Navarro County Criminal History does not set the partner's charges or control the records it returns.
